Description of the Painting
Two figures lean toward one another across a space filled with goblets and geometry, their bodies fragmented into planes of amber, crimson, and teal as if the act of gathering itself has broken them apart and reassembled them into something ceremonial. Between them, chalices stack and multiply — vessels within vessels — suggesting an offering that has been made many times before and will be made many times again.
