Expressionist Portrait Painting on canvas

READY TO HANG: The painting Expressionist Portrait is a high-quality Giclée art print on canvas. You can choose between two formats: stretched on wooden bars (Gallery Wrap), ready to hang with included hardware, or rolled in a protective tube, ideal for custom framing. The rolled option is more affordable and can help save on costs if you plan to have the canvas framed at any local shop. We offer free shipping to the USA and Canada.
ORIGINAL WALL ART: Expressionist Portrait is a unique artwork, created exclusively by PastelBrush and available only through this gallery. It is not part of other art stores’ collections, which gives it a distinct sense of exclusivity and authenticity. This uniqueness makes the piece a distinctive choice for those who value originality over mass-produced designs.
PAINTED LOOK: Experience special feelings! Thanks to our Giclée printing technique, the print is almost like a traditional artwork, with everything from color clarity to brushstroke feel. It’s like having an original painting on your wall, but at a better price.
MADE IN THE USA: The artwork is sold as a high-quality print on Premium Fine Art 380g/m² Cotton Canvas (the same canvas used by traditional artists) and varnished like an original oil painting. Read more information about how we create our portrait Giclée prints: HERE >>

Description of the Painting

A face assembles itself out of collision — layers of red and cobalt, salmon and black sweeping across a pale ground as if memory and presence are arriving at the same moment from different directions. One eye holds its ground with startling clarity amid the chaos above; the other dissolves into paint, half-suggested, half-surrendered. Large hoop earrings anchor her to something solid, something chosen, even as the rest of her is still becoming. The red at her shoulder blazes like a decision just made. This is a portrait painted not of who someone is, but of who someone is in the process of being — unfinished not from neglect, but from honesty, the kind that admits a person is never entirely still, never entirely resolved, always somewhere between arriving and beginning again.
