Description of the Painting
The cliff does not loom — it glows. Terracotta and amber stacked against a green so vivid it seems freshly invented, the headland curves into the sea with the unhurried confidence of something that has been doing this for a very long time and sees no reason to stop. Below, the shoreline writes itself in white cursive against turquoise, that thin urgent line where the ocean decides it has gone far enough. And the beach — the beach is not sand but pure accumulated joy: rounds of pink, purple, yellow, orange and green scattered like the aftermath of a celebration no one has yet cleaned up. The sea holds its deepest blue at the horizon, darkening where it thinks no one is looking. The sky barely begins.
