Sharing the Bowls Painting on canvas

READY TO HANG: The painting Sharing The Bowls is a high-quality Giclée art print on canvas. You can choose between two formats: stretched on wooden bars (Gallery Wrap), ready to hang with included hardware, or rolled in a protective tube, ideal for custom framing. The rolled option is more affordable and can help save on costs if you plan to have the canvas framed at any local shop. We offer free shipping to the USA and Canada.
ORIGINAL WALL ART: Sharing The Bowls is a unique artwork, created exclusively by PastelBrush and available only through this gallery. It is not part of other art stores’ collections, which gives it a distinct sense of exclusivity and authenticity. This uniqueness makes the piece a distinctive choice for those who value originality over mass-produced designs.
PAINTED LOOK: Experience special feelings! Thanks to our Giclée printing technique, the print is almost like a traditional artwork, with everything from color clarity to brushstroke feel. It’s like having an original painting on your wall, but at a better price.
MADE IN THE USA: The artwork is sold as a high-quality print on Premium Fine Art 380g/m² Cotton Canvas (the same canvas used by traditional artists) and varnished like an original oil painting. Read more information about how we create our expressive portrait Giclée prints: HERE >>

Description of the Painting

Two figures, two bowls, and between them the oldest conversation in the world. Their faces are simplified to the essential — pale ovals with a single blush of pink, eyes dark and downcast, attention given entirely to what is held and what is offered. The bowls are dark and generous, cupped in hands that know the weight of giving. Red blazes behind them both, bold and unapologetic, the colour of warmth that does not ask whether it is welcome. Black grounds the composition at its edges, and between all of it the white of their forms holds a quiet light. This is not a painting about ceremony or religion or ritual — or perhaps it is about all three, and about something simpler still: the human gesture of extending a bowl toward another person, which has never, in any language or century, meant anything other than I see you, and you are not alone.
